Beyond regulatory prescriptions, ethics is more and more becoming an inescapable necessity in the management of business flows that bind UBAF to its customers and service providers.
Preventing corruption in all its forms is one of UBAF Global Compliance vehicles to which the General Management pays special attention.
A specific system has been set up which raises awareness among our co-workers through mandatory trainings dedicated to the various situations that may occur and how to behave in such cases. This system is completed by specific procedures for entry into relation with our commercial targets or maintenance of actual customers (“KYC”) or towards service providers and suppliers (“KYS”). Internal standards govern very restrictively possibilities of granting or receiving personal benefits.
Regular supervision of said elements is carried out within managerial authorities presided over by the General Management to ensure the efficacy of these measures.
This system is reported to our Board of Directors where Credit Agricole Group has obvious influence as a result of its more than 47% hold on UBAF Crédit Agricole Group is the first French bank to benefit from the international standard ISO 37001 granted for the quality of its anti-corruption system.
Obtaining this certification shows the longstanding commitment of Crédit Agricole in terms of ethics in business, a key element of its Corporate Social Responsibility policy. UBAF has made this approach its own and is adapting its processes accordingly.
